Mostly, they're people who, actually handed said guitar, couldn't make it sound good and/or wouldn't have the patience to. I'm glad you're loving your BC Rich! Unfortunately, some revel in talking down about guitars they don't/haven't played. I did write "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE" on a bit of tape, and "This machine kills fascists", to add to the visual aesthetic. I'm not a metal guitarist, though I draw from all genres and refuse to disown any (so I'm pretentious and/or eclectic), and I still revisit my old Mick Thompson signature Warlock, sometimes, when the sound needed calls for it.
